Subject: RE: Case IH or Hesston inline baler twine boxes

The 2 ball 8530 twine box is the same size as the 3 ball 8545 twine box. The engineer at Hesston (Wesley) told me years ago they have to have more features than the economy model baler. In other words marketing is designing the features. I cut the dividers out of our 8530 and installed new ones so you could load 3 balls. I don't remember how I did it but I believe I used a thin grinder wheel in the 4" grinder to cut the old one out. I made 2 new dividers. It looked factory when finished. We run 8545's today but the 8530 is a great baler.
