Thanks for all the replies. I will try to answer some of your questions.
I took the insecticide off because we didn't use it anyway. I'm not aware of many in our area that do.
On the stagger I indexed & marked the sprockets on the hex shaft & indexed & marked the sprockets on the seed drive. There are 44" between the frames so I calculated the seed spacings & the 44" to set the chain that connects the 2 hex shafts from front to back. When I change populations all I have to do is change the timing on that connecting chain.
The twins are 8" & I will be using a 444 head.
The back of the planter lifts up really high making it easier to work on.
My wife wants to know what a vacation is!
