South Central Illinois

The seed delivery guy, was delivering seed corn to farms 40 miles SE of here, during our wheat harvest.
So there is corn in Southern Illinois that was planted around June 15.
Those fields will pollinate around August 15.
And black layer around October 15.
Frost date for our area is October 1-5.
40 miles SE is probably more like October 10.
