Subject: RE: New bins…

Everyone is thinking their size. What are you farming? Yields, planned expansion, combine speed.
I am fine with 5000 wet corn holding. Most here would not be. As said power, access matter. Security is also important.
I see a lot of 10k bins going really cheap. They have to be 20k to be worth anything. Plan for expansion. Neighbor added a bin. Everything is wrong for a leg, a pit, or an air system. He bought a longer auger just to move corn from his old dry corn storage bin to new bin nearly 3x size. A few 5k bins will likely be gone by summer.
