That is false. That engine runs EGR which actually lowers head temp by decreasing oxygen in the combustion chamber in order to lower Nox emissions. The DPF filter does create a lot heat when it regens, but that is mounted externally and does not increase engine temp. Finally, there are 8r units with EGR, SCR, and DPFs all over the west running big squares all day in temps over 100 degrees without heating issues.

Something is wrong with your tractor.
