Central Illinois | When I have seen augers being assembled at Dealers lots, They had the tubes on saw horses on a level slab. They then strung and tensioned the cables. I just don't know if if there is a spec or procedure to adjust the tension. By supporting each end, we could run a string line to get the tubes straight. Then try to get equal tension on the cables.
Probably over thinking the whole process.
