The muscle memory that always trips me up is the left hand reverser. Move from a tractor into a vehicle and I'm turning on blinkers or wipers when I want to change direction.
The most dangerous is the reversers that are right foot right pedal forward, and right foot left pedal backwards. The first time I hop in an automatic vehicle after and back up, come to a stop and instinctively hit the gas to go forward but I'm still in reverse. |
