Every one of our tractors has a foot throttle. For field work that is mostly a constant speed, like planting, or pto work like mowing hay, I'll use the hand throttle for the most part. The foot throttle gets used for about everything else.
Every tractor bought new we made sure it had a foot throttle, and every used tractor we ever bought that didn't have a foot throttle had one installed at the earliest convenience.
A foot throttle is pretty high on the list of "must haves" around here. We'd feel as lost without a foot throttle as most of you Midwestern boys would without Autosteer, LOL | |
