In all 28 States are at least considering allowing ivermectin to be either bought OTC or by prescription without the Dr writing the prescription getting reprimanded. Site is behind a paywall, but you can read enough without registering to get the jist.
I still find it funny how before Covid we bought ivermectin OTC for our kids during a head lice outbreak. No prescriptions needed, and it was intended for parents to be able to dose it out to their kids. It was safe enough to give to kids without a prescription until sometime in 2019 or 2020. I don't think it became less safe that year, so why did they pull it, and why is it still pulled off the shelves? | |
