He said that the set screws that hold the shaft in place at the bottom can easily let the shaft walk over. He recommended getting it re-centered and then dimpling the shaft with a drill bit before putting the set screw in. He was spot on for the movement and I've got it working great now. I think the build quality of the J&M is excellent.
