you have to make up your own mind, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 6 yrs. ago, doctor (young guy) didn't seem too concerned, said numbers aren't too high (don;t remember number) I said they tripled in less than a yr. what can we do, well he said we can do radiation, BUT if you do radiation you can not have surgery, that convinced me I wanted it out, good thing, it turned out to be stage three, the cancer was on top of the prostate and they missed it, they felt sure they got all the cancer, well for 6 yrs. my number stayed down, BUT early this yr. my numbers started to climb, well long story short, I am close to finishing my 40 radiation treatments, feel good about catching it early, guess my advise is do what YOU feel is right, if you don't totally trust your doctor get another opinion, that's your right, but do SOMETHING it's your health not someone else's
