When spending that much, go look for a used SF6000 that's already SF3 Ready. SF3 on a 6000 is accurate to less than 2 inches for 9 months. SF2 on a 3000 is maybe an hour if that long. The market is flooded with all kinds of older receivers at much lower than retail price since the SF7000 came out. Just check the serial numbers or get them from a reputable dealer. Lots of stolen units still running around, and the dealer won't sell you a subscription if that unit was ever reported stolen.
