A lot of my experience echos roadranger,I hadn't had a psa test for a couple years,it went from under 2 to 12 in those 2-3 years.My doctor said it was on the verge of spreading when it was caught.Kind of like getting your blood pressure taken you might never know you have problems until you have a big one
