I think their Deere will be pretty reliable for a while. I bought a 6415 as a project a year ago. It had 12,000 hours. The head gasket was bad, so I bought it planning on a full engine overhaul. I pulled the head off. The cylinders all still had nice crosshatch on them, so I threw a head gasket and a set of new injectors in and ran it. It has been very reliable.
