SeMN | The outer bolts on our 2-piece , what I call “waffle type”, front wheel rim came loose , now the holes are rounded out. Since both pieces are damaged , and we don’t plan on ever changing the wheel spacing by flipping the rim mounting holes around , has anyone ever just welded both pieces together? It’s either , buy 2 new pieces ( inner and outer and throw the old parts in the scrap pile ) , find a shop that can repair all the holes , and center them , or center the pieces and completely weld them together professionally. | |
