Pittsburg, Kansas | Not what I say, but what this doctor says. Pretty short presentation.
This also will not be a popular video among this crowd. But I think it adds to the conversation and things to think about.
Cancer is a scary deal and fear comes into play when making decisions about treating it or even testing for it.
Do I have answers? Absolutely not. I'm as clueless as the next guy. But I like to try and be informed, even if it still ends up in the end that I remain clueless.

If he is correct, and treatment does not improve my chances of survival for the next 15 years, do I want to deal with the side effects of the treatment? Or do I just want to live my life out best I can? Hope I never have to come to grips with those questions. (in fairness, he does show that treatment can reduce the chance of the cancer metastasizing)
Have a close friend right now having to overcome problems brought about by chemo therapy. He had skin cancer so took some chemo after it was removed. I am not sure the type of skin cancer. I didn't think it was that big of deal. The chemo triggered shingles and the shingles ended up in his eyes. Now he is getting daily shots into his eyes trying to save his vision. He says it looks like he is looking through a glass pane with Vaseline smeared all over it. So sometimes treatments create their own problems.
Sucks to get old, but I have not found a better alternative. Still beats being deceased.
