Malta, Illinois | Very sorry to hear about your BIL. Unfortunately his story is an all too common one. Somehow as males we are resistant to going to a doctor even for a routine checkup. I fell into the category when my primary care doctor retired and I drug my feet for two or three years about getting a new one. When I finally did it turned out things were not as they should be. Seeing your doctor every year and having the PSA done gives them a baseline to watch and prevents you from getting too far out into the weeds. I blew it. Best of luck in the coming days, weeks, and months. Please keep us posted. | |
