WC IL | I buried a BIL a few months ago who never went to a doctor, didn’t go until he was unable to urinate, spent his last 2 years with a port directly to his kidneys and a catheter to his bladder. When he finally went to the doctor his PSA was over 500.
Mine went from 6.0 a year ago to 6.7 in June. Met with the urologist today. Going to schedule a biopsy ASAP, don’t want to end up like BIL.
There is a risk calculator they can plug your PSA, age, I think a couple of others factors into to evaluate your risk. Mine came back kind of borderline. Talked to a friend who is a bunch younger than me today who had an elevated PSA and had a biopsy done, said it was no big deal. | |
