If your PSA is that high you need to be proactive and do what they tell you. I have have been under a urologist's observation for about 15 years. I am 74 years old. In that time I have been through 5 biopsies. The way they do the procedure is quite painless. But there is some bleeding. So I wouldn't spend a lot of time concerning myself about the procedure. I do visit with him every 6 months with both bloodwork and urinalysis. I have a great amount of confidence in him.
