south central WI | Kids ages and what do you like to do? Do you want to stay right in the dells or how far do you want to venture? I'm 15 min outside of the Dells, but really haven't spent time at waterparks for almost 30 years.
Sunny days: dells ducks, either one but by son drives for the army ducks.
Big sky drive in theater at night, the have 2 screens and play 2 movies on each at night, so 4 movies. Generally one is more kid friendly and the other is more pg13 or R movies I believe.
Mt Olympus and Noah's ark are mostly outdoor parks I believe.
There's a handful of boat rides on the upper dells from slow tours to jet boats
Go cart tracks, zip line, mini and regular golf, people watch, rent a pontoon from Holiday Shores, visit mirror lake state park or rocky arbor SP in the dells, or devils lake SP in baraboo and climb the rocks. There's other similar walks in the area.
Indoor activities: bowling, movie theater, escape rooms, axe throwing, tons of bars and restaurants, arcades, knuckleheads, walk the strip/downtown and visit the fudge and t-shirt shops.
You can atv/utv in town and on some country roads so bring one if you want. Lots of fishing lakes east of town in my area. I can lend you some poles, possibly a boat if you like.
Lots of good restaurants. For steak in town, del bar and ishnala are great but $$$. 15 min out of town there is Club 23 or Cimarolis, both great supper clubs. There are more bars than you could visit in a month long visit. Plenty of wineries, distilleries or breweries if you're into that.
The dells is actually a small town, the population sign says something like 2400. Lake delton is connected to it and probably has around that many also.
If you want to go fishing or boating, let me know. I can take you out on the pontoon if we're not chopping hay or corn. I also have a few dozen flavors or bourbon if you're into that.
