there could be some small truth in it if it was a ford, starting in 2021, they went with an all aluminum body, but the frame is still steel.....but I have heard stories that the new fords do have aluminum frames now......have not spent the money to find out tho !!!
Well I did spend the money.
The F150 went aluminum in 2015 and the superduty series went aluminum in 17.
My 2024 350 still has a steel frame.
