Subject: John Deere Field Reprogramming Help needed, 2600 monitor, reboot continuous

Holly Hill, SC
I am having trouble with a new to me JD 2600 display. Installed in my tractor (JD 8400 with greenstar ready installed or Case combine with Agri GPS Bridge installed) the monitor once booted up says it has a problem and needs to reboot. Does this over and over again. When I plug the monitor in my generic ISO harness in my office it boots up as it should.

I am trying to do a field reprogram on the monitor from a file I received from my dealer in 2014. I have read this may fix a corruption in the software. Currently on 2.8.1033 This worked on my sprayer years ago when the monitor was locked up during boot up.

I am having trouble getting this procedure to work. I have unzipped the file to the CF (have also tried copy paste extracted files to the CF) and held the up and down keys while it boots up. The monitor boots up fine in my office with no attempt to reprogram the software. Anyone remember how to do this that can shed some light on the subject.
Thanks
