Uncle had a dime sized piece of wood wedge hit him in the collarbone and ricochet down towards his heart. Was less than 3cm from his aorta. Entry wound never really bled or hurt. My dad pretty much made him go to the ER, doc said very good chance it would have kept working down and pierced artery. They carefully pulled it out.
