I've never done it and I don't have that much experience with deere monitors, but my understanding is a deere liquid control module can be put on just about anything and then you can use a deere monitor to run the section and rate control.
That being said you might lose functionality of special functions like boom recirculation, tank fill flow meters and you would have to convert cal numbers over to the deere monitor which might be a headache on flow valve control.

I would suppose most all sprayers sold today are using some sort of manufacturer specific version of a raven rcm.
