I had the same problem in order to get the low pressure switch to not kick the compressor out. I had to overfill it. It was a new high and low pressure switch. Also, it would squeal the belt. Every time to compressor kicked on. I eventually just jumper wired the low pressure switch and ran a lot less 134. It works great now I am curious to see what other people say This was a 1999 379
