North central ND | We really like our v1100, with the 1250s it floats really nice. I like the side auger better, it doesn’t obstruct the view of combine (if you put it down all the time) or just going down the road like the unverferth does. I would never want to fold and unfold by the truck, have no idea how you’d ever get lined up the way you want but I suppose it’s possible, we just leave it out all the time and never had any issues with it. The spout on the Brent is perfect for 78” sides and easily loads 84, plenty of side reach to stay a long ways from trailers, if you rubbed up against the trailers it would shoot it to the other side. it shoots straight down between the straps, so doesn’t hurt if you have shorter trailers.
Go with 1300 if you can to easily get a semi load, I’ve gotten 66000 of wheat and beans on our 1100 lots of times but it has to be stuffed | |
