| We have considered offering an aftermarket changeover to advance powercast system. If your machine is already equipped with standard powercast we could possibly make a kit for $12,000 US funds. If machine is equipped with 12 vane manual deflector the cost would be closer to $20,000. My honest question is would anyone pay that? I do not know what John Deere charges customers to change to advance system.
TSR has sold hundreds of 12 vane tailboards to remove powercast (both premium and standard) from John Deere straw choppers for 2 reasons. Unsatisfied with performance, windrowing mostly with standard powercast and maintenance cost of parts for wear items on advance powercast. I understand I am not answering your question but would appreciate your input to amount you would be willing to pay for the drop the straw but spread the chaff feature.
