Go to drugstores or Walmart & get Mentholatum ( similar to Vick’s VAPORUB ) salve. Rub some on exposed skin. Will help greatly. I am not a fan of DEET-however it may work. (OR) use both : also helps against ticks. The combination of camphor & menthol in MENTHOLATUM is repulsive to insects.
