Subject: Supplementing on Sorghum Sudangrass

Have grown BMR sorg/sudan for years but have always silaged it. Grazing it this year with both sheep and stocker cattle. forage looks great, haven't gotten tissue and plant samples back yet but it hasn't suffered a day in its life. Not super impressed by the condition on the calves though. Curious if any of you supplement on SS for stockers? low calcium would be a concern too I suppose, but I do have free choice Ca Carbonate out with the mineral. Pic is of the sheep in the field, but gives you an idea.
