| “Line of sight” is not literal, radio reception (not gps) is what you are referring to with the line of sight thought. If you have good radio reception over the entire field you should be good to go. If you have questionable reception whether radio or gps satellites you need to address the issue. It is recommended to be as close as possible with the base station. Most of what I’ve read recommends trying to stay under one mile. Remember that lowering the antenna when the tile plow lowers can effect your reception (experience). | |
