Subject: RE: Establishing red clover in wheat

Penn Yan, NY
We used to struggle to get a decent stand when buying red clover from a seed company. Then we started getting it from a neighbor whose family has grown the same stuff in this area and made seed on it for 150+ years. Now we have good stands again.

Not all red clover is made the same and what is well adapted to the Pacific Northwest or Canadian Plains does not do well in a damp eastern climate
