Subject: RE: School me on agleader

SW WI
Question 1: Ag Leaders Steercommand Z2 is the system that would be compatible with a steer ready tractor.

Question 2: You would have to switch the planter to Ag Leader Modules and Wiring to control and monitor the planter. You should be able to reuse existing seed tube sensors and wiring. Also should be able to reuse your clutches

Question 3: Hybrid mapping is very simple with Ag Leader. You would need a Multiple product unlock on the monitor to split the planter like you suggest. Otherwise you select your product and plant.

Question 4: A Switchbox is required with and section control with Ag leader.

Question 5: Terrastar X is 1" accuracy (RTK from the Sky). This still requires an RTK unlocked GPS 7500 Ag Leader Receiver(GPS 7500 is also required for the steercommand Z2) With that being said, side dressing in corn depends alot on proper vehicle measurements and tuning of the autosteer system to keep things where they should be.

Question 6: As far as climate goes, they seem to be alright. (we don't have many customers that run climate as we have them on agfiniti(see next comment)

Question 7: Agfiniti is very seemless with Ag Leaders Incommand monitors. With internet to the monitor, it automatically sends data to the cloud(you can turn this off if you would like). Everything can be viewed on the cloud, either on a computer, tablet or phone. To use this feature however there is a $350 yearly subscription to take advantage of all agfiniti has to offer. They do offer a free plan that doesn't do a whole lot

Question 8: If your boundaries are mapped on RTK correction you should not need to remap them unless the field changes.

Question 9: Ag Leaders Yield mapping is one of the best in the industry IMO. Very seemless to use and stays calibrated all season(once its first calibrated to start the year).

Question 10: Ag Leader is very user friendly. We have alot of customers, older in age, that use Ag Leader with very little issues. Sometimes things arise that are not normal but usually a phone call can solve these issues pretty easily.

Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions.

Michael
