NC Iowa | My roots do not agree.
I side dressed dry last year about 5" deep in the middle of the rows, there were roots everywhere in that band.
Roots will grow where the nutrients are. If it's all banded right on top of plant, the roots may not get to spread out..but is that a good thing?
