North Dakota | I would first get a representative sample and have end user test the dockage level. Canola can be deceiving with respect to dockage level. I thought my 2023 canola was higher in dockage but when hauling it in it averaged 1-1.9%. Also if you are storing it and it is dry(7-9%) a little higher dockage will aid storage longevity. When you think about it canola has a very high oil ratio with respect to seed size. Almost like storing a liquid. | |
