Several months ago I posted how I was building a working RTK Basestation for less than $1,000.  I've spent a lot of time reading and about what was needed and then started buying some equipment.  When its all said and done I ended up using the following products.  All are from Ardusimple.com.

There are several how to articles on the Ardusimple website about how to survey in your antenna.  I was able to use a different NTRIP service to find my antennas exact location.  My biggest "challenge" was learning/realizing that I needed to use the NAD83 datum.

My RTCM data stream is broadcast on RTK2Go and I access it with an FMX, TMX-2050, Pro 700/372, and a CaseIH Pro 1200/Vector Pro. 

During the learning process I purchased an RTKonnect from Back 40 Precision.  I'm using this on the 372 since it is weather proof and on the roof of my sprayer and it is tethered to an iPad for data service.

Once I had that figured out I purchased a WIFI NTRIP Master and Serial adapter from Ardusimple.  I then wired up a Deutsch terminal for Port D of my FMX and tether it to an iPad.

For the TMX-2050 I purchased the VRS unlock and use the builtin NTRIP client.  It is also tethered to an iPad.

Yesterday was the biggest test of the system since I started testing it.  I've sprayed several thousand acres down 30" rows with perfect results but yesterday and today we used it to cultivate seed corn.  Seed corn is planted using a 37.5' swath (overlap one row) and we cultivate 16 rows.  It worked perfectly.  I'm probably biased but it appears to be better than the RTX we've been using for the past 5 years.

I've told my dealer to take my subscriptions off of auto renew for next year.  I also told him I wouldn't sell the service to others.....but putting together your own system if you have an understanding of computers, basic networking, and the ability to read is not too difficult.
