Eastern NE KS | Please explain your notching system for cow/calf. Do you notch at birth? If so, a small 3/8" notcher would be useful. Does notching and fly tags work on together?
When I was young, I used a base 3 ear notching system on my hpigs. Left ear was the litter number and right ear was the individual within that litter. I could easily translate the base 3 notches to bas 10 for records or paperwork. | |
