West Union, Illinois | For a general statement milo can tolerate drought better than corn. But there is always a timing factor. I can’t say exactly when but timing of wet and dry periods affects them a little differently.
First year I grew milo (over 40 years ago)o I knew nothing about it so I had crop insurance.Got dry, l turned in a claim, adjuster said it was a total loss. No reason to even harvest it. If I wanted to combine it to make the landlord happy they didn’t care. It started raining and ended up making 45 bushels. | |
