I used to run a 3 app program. ~50% fall nh3, 25% UAN pre, 25% topdress urea. Lots of similar programs in the area. Most have went away from the in-crop pass. Yield checks werent showing an advantage. In many cases, the 2 pass fall nh3/UAN pre had higher yields. Thats where I am at right now. I do pull some nitrate tests around V5 just to see where I am at.
