| I was talking about this with my dad the other day. And generally it seems, not always, the best time to make improvements is now. Right now. Just because the ways inflation works. Here there’s a lot of poly pipe so I’ll use that as an example. So let’s say I need to run some underground line to put another riser up for 10k. I could just run transfer poly pipe instead which is 500 a roll. (I’m just making these numbers up) so it’d take 20 years to pay it back! Not a good investment. But when you factor in inflation and that in another ten years those transfer poly pipe rolls will prbly be worth 1000 and to install underground line with a riser would now cost 20k….
It really depends on a persons time frame. If that time frame is longer than say 5 years, Prbly should get it setup like you want without shortcuts imo
On rented ground without a guarantee of how long you’ll have it….? Idk
