Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Never had a 280 but had 8250 --had 2- 250 gal tanks not 2-400 gal
Simple good machine --Ride rough-- our 8250 best I remember would only run about 12 MPH
IF the front wheels are splayed out usually where the final torque hub bolts on is cracked and bent
Almost every one I have seen has splayed out front tires
IF you can weld an easy fix ---take off the tire and rim, unbolt torque hub --just 6 bolts--- bottom of leg piece will be cracked
