Anyone knowledgeable about electric grounding on trailer mounted generator?

The generator its self is the power source with no outside connections. Meaning the ground for the generator is the only ground needed. You can't get shocked if you're touching the ground and the trailer frame becomes hot because the ground you are standing on does not in any way have a path back to the generator power. If you drive a ground rod and a breaker fails, and the frame becomes hot you now have a path back to the power and can get shocked.
