| You will be fine. watch instructions for how to do it or something close so you have instructions for assembly and disassembly. keep track of where the screws go, as they are normally the same but sometimes different lengths. Ribbon cables have a latch. don't touch any circuits directly with your fingers, just the edges.
It isn't usually that hard. It might take an hour. Usually if you miss a screw, it isn't the end of the world.
If your computer allows it, you can add ram. Or if your battery is starting to go weak, you can replace all that at the same time. Replacing the drive, takes a few extra steps to copy data on and off, etc. I would suggest waiting to do that after you figure out what you need to do it, and after the machine is back up and running correctly again. :)
