| First year using Max IN ZMB on beans so can't say one way or another. Far as spraying fungicides / insecticides , my son & I have discussed this in the past. Our thoughts is that dry tweather is not the time to drop it. We feel we need to try to save any potential the crops have & hopefully rain will arrive in time. Years ago I had an older neighbor give me heck for planting my corn to thick. This was 1971 or 2. . At the time 18-21 k was the normal in this area & I planted at 24k. He said if we had a drought I'd have nubbins for ears. I told him I planted for a good year, not a bad one.To this day I still farm for a good year, not a bad one. | |
