SE MN | The best workaround I have come up with so far is set the x-axis data source to a separate location on the spreadsheet, then copy and paste the x-axis data to be graphed, into that area. In the picture below the x-axis source is H17:H22. I then copy the data I want graphed (for example, J3:J8) and paste in to H17:H22. After looking at that chart, if I want to see how I3:I8 interacts with the y data (G3:G8), I copy I3:I8 and paste in to H17:H22. The Excel method of dragging the blue rectangles around still seems superior.
