RR Valley, ND; MN native | As far as I know, my uncle (by marriage) still has his '69 Torino in a garage on his farm. It ~had~ the 428 Cobra Jet engine. During the 70s fuel crisis, he sold the engine and was putting in a 302 but never finished the project and its been sitting since about 1976 or so. I haven't seen the car in about 40yrs so not sure what shape its in now. It was maroon with a white stripe. Hood scope and pins. I barely remember him coming to the farm to pick up my aunt for dates ~50yrs ago and it idled rough due to the cam. | |
