North Central Texas | We have a moderate Johnson Grass problem in our milo fields this year. What would be a good plan to start controlling it after harvest this year? We will harvest in August and September so it should start growing again after we bale the milo straw. Should I let it grow then hit it with RU or is there another chemical that would be better to kill the JG rhizomes? Then should I plow (heavy tandem disk) sometime in late October early November to help break up the rhizomes? | |
