It's not rocket surgery. Bond the generator to the trailer through the grounding lug. Drive a 5ft grounding rod in the ground and bond it to the trailer. Braided copper instead of solid for ground wires because you'll probably be hooking and unhooking often.

When I was on the pipeline I saw a truck that had a grounding rod on some kind of linear actuator attached to the headache rack. He could drive the rod and pull it out with the flip of a switch. It didn't go very deep but technically we didn't have to have an earth ground if we were tied to the pipeline.
