SW MINNESOTA | Currently running a track tractor and one with front and rear duals for row-crop work. Looking at going to wide singles either the big LWS tires or maybe 900 rear and 600 fronts for manure hauling. The wheel tractor needs tires anyway and looking to trade the tracks for another wheel tractor. My question is will leaving 60” skips for the big tires for spraying and sidedressing be a big factor yield wise every 40’? How about 60’ if I went to a bigger planter? Switching tires during rowcrop season I suppose is an option too but rather not. Thanks | |
