In my experience, iowa and bad roads don't belong in the same sentence. I've been to rock valley a few times in the last couple years. Don't remember specifically the roads ive taken, but nothing memorable about bad roads comes up. Some of you fellers need to drive around in Missouri for a while to realize how good you have it.
