it is a rental house that i own. the excavtor is a good friend of mine, his dad is my next door neighbor, very honest. i think the inspectors concern is that the level is below the baffle outlet to the leech tank and after i added water to the tank, it seemed to leak down below there again. the inspector is local guy, also a good guy. the excavator said about all he could do is dig down alongside the tank and hope he can find and fix any leaks


The tanks here are concrete

75 years should not have a leak other then the outlet that are solid for 10 feet from the holding tank

pull both lids off has to be a cover on both ends

see how high the outlet is that should be a elbow so it separates the solids

a post hole digger would make way less of a mess
considering the low percentage of finding a tank leaking
